If the nut will not loosen I would simply heat the nut up to remove it.You can but the nuts at a parts store but most likely there will be no need to replace it.

How to change wheels studs on 97 ford escort?
i took my brake caliper off and rotor and there is no room to tap the studs out from my hub. ive tried to take off the hub but it simply wont loosen. is there a special tool needed to take off my hub? or should i resort to heating up the nut that holds the hub on?How to change wheels studs on 97 ford escort?
