Mazda Miata brake noise?

I have a 2001 Mazda Miata. I just had my brake pads changed and now they squeal when I stop. I called the service tech today who said he soaked them in anti-squeal compound before putting them on. He suggested stopping hard about 2-3 times in order to wear off the rust on the rotors, which is causing the squeal.

Does this make any sense to anyone? I don't think its the weather, because they squealed in both rain and shine, morning and night, and regardless of how long I've been driving the car.

Any help and suggestions on how to eliminate the squeal would be greatly appreciated.Mazda Miata brake noise?
he used cheap brake pads -pure and simple -he should have turned rotors and used a good pad (ceramic) duralast (autozone) and wagner (o'reilly's) both are good pads.foreign cars are known to squeal if cheap stuff are used.Mazda Miata brake noise?
